Four County Sugar Cookies

2 c butter
2 c oil
2 c granulated sugar
2 c powdered sugar
4 eggs
2 tsp salt
2 tsp baking soda
2 tsp cream of tartar
2 tsp vanilla
8 c flour

Cream butter and oil with sugars. Add eggs and beat. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Drop by teaspoons onto a cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes or until bottoms begin to brown.
